PB Performance Horses

We absolutely love PB Performance Horses! My daughter has been riding with Payton for a little over two years, and while she had previous riding experience, it was through Payton’s guidance that she truly began to grow and gain confidence. Payton and her staff are not only passionate, dedicated horse owners, but also phenomenal riders with proven records and accomplishments that reflect their deep expertise. The entire PB Performance Horses team is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, kind, and supportive, creating an environment where riders feel encouraged to reach their full potential. Whether you are looking to advance your skills or just beginning your riding journey, I highly recommend reaching out to PB Performance Horses. They are truly exceptional!

After working with many different trainers over the years, I can confidently say that PB Performance Horses stands out from the rest. Having a broad range of experiences to compare them to, the quality of care and depth of knowledge stands out. What sets this program apart is the holistic approach. The lesson horses are in incredible health and receive impeccable care, which is a huge indicator of a trainer's integrity. Whether you are looking for high-quality instruction, trail rides, an introduction to barrel racing, or the opportunity to attend frequent races, there is something for everyone. It’s also worth noting that Payton’s own riding experience is a massive asset; she isn’t just teaching it, she’s doing it at a high level. She remains relevant in the industry and is always seeking feedback to improve, which is a breath of fresh air. If you want a knowledgeable, experienced, and growth-oriented environment for yourself or your horse, look no further. I’m writing this from a parent perspective. My 10yo daughter is the rider.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at PB Performance Horses. Payton and the other trainers, Sofia and Maddie, are patient, knowledgeable, and truly care about both the rider and the horse. Since training here, I’ve seen tremendous growth in our daughter’s confidence, skills, and sense of responsibility. PB Performance Horses offers a positive, professional, and encouraging environment where riders are supported and pushed to be their best. I’m grateful for the impact this program has had on our daughter and couldn’t recommend PB Performance Horses more highly!

Our friends at the OC Polo Club recommended that my 6 yr old start with PB Performance to learn the basics since she showed strong interest in polo and showjumping. For comparison, my daughter also tried out English riding places like Telesis in Norco as well as Reign Equine that's also at El Rodeo. My daughter fell in love with Payton's trainer Maddie and had a better connection to her than the other facilities. All kids eventually fall, and I was impressed with how it was handled. Maddie checked on her, helped with a few breathing exercises to calm her down, and didn't peer pressure her to get back on the saddle until she was ready. Payton was also professional and how she documented everything and sent me a notification to sign and acknowledge why and what happened. Not sure if my daughter is interested in barrel racing, but it is a great foundation for polo. Not sure if Payton will offer showjumping in the future, but we plan to grow together with PB Performance for a few more years :). Attached are pictures from my kid's 1st grade class about her Favorite Thing, to show for Open House. Ms Maddie and Ms Sophia really had an impact on her during the Valentine's half day horse camp. She LOVED being able to ride a trail, bathe the horse, and create crafts. Thanks for your positive influence and growing her passion!

We are so happy with PB Performance Horses. This truly is the place to be. Our daughter is so happy and loves it here. The amount of time, care, and dedication these trainers put into their students is incredible. Our 11 year old daughter has been training here for almost a year, and she has already competed in her first entry race. We couldn’t be happier here. They work with riders of all levels from beginner to intermediate to advanced and consistently demonstrate patience, support, and genuine care. They teach with high standards while remaining patient and encouraging, and the love they show each of their students truly makes a difference. Their experience and knowledge clearly reflect in their students. Highly recommend!

PB Performance Horses has been such an amazing experience for me, my family, and my filly. I sent her to Payton for barrel training and the progress was unreal—she came home more confident, more solid, and just so much better minded. Every ride feels intentional and truly goal-focused. As a jumper stepping into the barrel world, my riding improved just as much. Things finally started to click, and I gained confidence I didn’t even realize I was missing. Communication is always great—I was never left wondering how things were going. What I love most is the positive, supportive environment. It feels like a real community, not just a training program. I can’t recommend PB Performance Horses enough if you want someone who truly cares and helps you grow.

I absolutely love watching my granddaughter ride at PB performance horses. I am beyond impressed with how much she has learned and how quickly she’s grown with this team. I’ve personally watched Payton give her lessons, and the knowledge, patience, and experience she brings truly shine through in my beautiful granddaughter’s riding. It brings me so much joy to see her confidence and skill develop. I’m so happy my son and daughter-in-law chose this place. Thank you, PB Performance Horses, for helping create such a wonderful cowgirl! Highly recommend!!
