We had a wonderful first lesson experience at Jelich! My 7yo took a beginner lesson with Kiki, who was so encouraging and patient with him. The lesson horse, Lola, was sweet and lovely. Jennifer the owner was very friendly and overall it feels like a very welcoming environment for newbies. We're looking forward to starting regular lessons in a couple weeks!

My daughter has been riding at Jelich Farms for over 6 years, since she was 6 years old. Our experience has been incredibly positive - I can't imagine a better place for a child to learn riding skills and horsemanship. Jenn Jelich creates a supportive learning environment where children of all ages and abilities feel encouraged and confident. Whether it's a child's first introduction to riding or helping them hone advanced skills, Jenn tailors each lesson to the individual needs of the student, ensuring they feel both challenged and successful. The teaching approach is not only rooted in deep knowledge of horsemanship but also in patience, clear communication, and a genuine passion for helping kids grow. Lessons are engaging, fun, and always prioritize safety, fostering both a love for riding and a respectful bond with the horses. Under, Jenn's instruction, my child has not only developed excellent riding skills but has also grown in self-confidence, responsibility, and teamwork.

We have been involved with Jelich Farms for several years, beginning with riding lessons when my daughter was 11. From the very first lesson we have been so impressed with the quality of instruction, in all areas of horsemanship, from riding competitively to handling all aspects of horse care. After several years of increasing knowledge and responsibility, she has been able to serve as an assistant barn manager and mentor to younger riders. One of the most important benefits has been the positive and supportive community of friends she has developed. We could not be happier with the experiences she has had and continues to have at Jelich Farms. Jenn Jelich has put together a first-class barn and riding program. My daughter has been riding at Jelich Farms for 4 years, and it is her favorite place in the world. She takes lessons, competes in local shows, and begs to be dropped off at the barn on weekends so she can do chores. Jenn Jelich has built a supportive community of riders where safety, horsemanship and teamwork are top priorities, and students of all ages work together in the barn and cheer each other on in the arena. I can’t say enough about the quality of instruction. In addition to being highly experienced and knowledgeable about riding technique, horsemanship, and competition, Jenn and her team of instructors are compassionate, patient, and committed to their students on so many levels. The lessons learned are often about so much more than riding. Over the past few years I have watched my daughter’s confidence and sense of self grow by leaps and bounds as a direct result of riding at Jelich Farms. This place is an absolute gem!

Riding at Jenn’s stable has been a great choice for my daughter. She’s learning horsemanship in a supportive environment. I appreciate the level of care and attention taken to support my daughter at her level; she has been able to grow and advance in her riding and feel good about the progress she is making. The trainers are always available for questions and make me feel like I’m a part of the community. I love seeing her confidence grow. The lesson horses are sweethearts and we love them!

It’s been 4 years since my kid started riding at Jelich Farms, and I feel very lucky that we joined this amazing team. Trainers are not only highly experienced but also incredibly positive, patient and supportive. I especially love that they lead kids to ride responsibly and respectfully to both horses and other riders. It is fascinating to see kids here supporting and encouraging each other regardless whether they are beginners or the Nationals level. Highly recommend to parents who are looking for both professional trainers and affectionate community.

Jenn Jelich and her team are not only incredible trainers but amazing teachers. They foster an extremely positive environment, teaching not only how to excel at horseback riding but also how to be a member of a community and how to take responsibility. Jenn’s students learn horsemanship, the ups and downs of competition, and how to lift one another up. Our daughter had learned so much and grown exponentially at Jelich Farms.
