Was my first Renaissance Fair the attendance was not there for what I expected it to be the grounds were a bit dirty. The vendors were amazing were nice. My wife and my self had amazing time at the archery booth. We definitely attended again for archery and the vendors.

I’m honestly stunned reading the owner’s responses to reviews — the gaslighting alone says a lot. In my experience, the property was extremely overgrown and felt neglected, with trash scattered all around the grounds. A lot of it was near vendors’ areas, but it didn’t look like it came from them. There was no visible organization, no contests, no staff, and no one who seemed to be in charge of anything. The whole place felt chaotic and unsafe. A concern for me was the state of the "toilet." I don’t understand how this place is allowed to operate as a public venue. The donation barrels also left me uneasy — with how disorganized everything else was, it made me question where those few donations actually go. Overall, the condition of the property and the unprofessional responses to reviews speak for themselves. I really hope the city steps in to address these issues and shut this down, because in its current state, this place doesn’t feel safe or properly maintained.

The owner Patrice is a liar behind face of customers , she is vindictive against vendors and she should be sued or shut down! She is a danger to vendors who are actually good people! Please please trust all low reviews and keep your people and business safe from this event! The faery fest and fall fest DO NOT ATTEND!

Had an amazing experience at the Renaissance fest here! It was small but everyone was so friendly and dressed up amazingly! Great vendors, great atmosphere!

Loved vending at this venue. Everyone was friendly and helpful, the grounds are unique with beautiful mature trees. Would recommend!

Eta- what a joke of a response. Excuse after excuse for the same complaints she has clealry had for a DECADE. I can't believe how much she LIES and twists words. Now i know why this place is a failure. Added PROOF it was not advertised as free nor did she tell us to send photos. I genuinely don’t understand how The Jackson Ranch Historic Landmark is still advertising events like this. We attended their so-called "renaissance faire," and it was absolutely nothing like what was promised. It wasn’t a faire at all—just a tiny, overgrown circle of vendors surrounded by trash, debris, and tripping hazards everywhere. It looked like the property had been used as a dumping ground for large junk items. The ants were out of control, and the grounds were so overgrown that thorns literally went through my husband’s shoe. There was no entrance indication, no visible staff running anything, and zero information about the costume contest my kid was excited for. We asked multiple people and nobody knew what we were even talking about. We walked the entire vendor area twice, and honestly there wasn’t much there—just a lot of extremely overpriced items and even some obvious Temu resellers. A few vendors were nice, but many were pushy despite the steep prices ($40–$50+ for items the size of a thumbnail). The photos they advertise are clearly taken at angles that hide the reality of the property. It was shocking to see how rundown and unkempt everything actually looked. We were the only people who even showed up with a donation, and after being there I understand why. We wasted so much time and money trying to support this event, even making costumes for a contest that didn’t seem to exist. A reporter for a school paper even stopped us for our attire, yet when I reached out to the host afterward, she expected us to drive another hour the following day just to show up again to her five-minute "festival" to enter. Not send a picture like she now claims. What a liar! The "kids craft and reading area" was just two sad tents that looked like someone was living in them, complete with puddles of water. The "live music" was nonexistent—just a ripped piece of cardboard advertising it. And I have never seen a petting zoo where you had to pay per person to see three goats. That should have been clearly stated. As for the restroom… one shack that I wouldn’t go near, let alone use. Overall, this place is unsafe, unorganized, unkempt, and nothing like what they advertise. I honestly feel bad for the few vendors who were trying. I wish I had read reviews beforehand because we would have never wasted our time. Absolutely would not recommend.
