We absolutely love this Camp! My daughter attended there for three summers !! The children are always supervised and spend almost all day in and around the barn. From owners to staff everything is always taken care of and the animals are loved beyond! Our family highly recommends Pony Gang!!!
My daughter loves her riding lessons! This is the first activity in all of her 10 years that never once has she gotten bored or complained about having to go, and that is a feat! She has learned so much about riding and what it takes to get to know and care for your horse. Her confidence has increased significantly, and I've watched her do work in her lessons that she wouldn't have had the courage to do before riding. Pony Gang instructors are caring and extremely knowledgeable and are the best fit for our family! I highly recommend working with them!
Not happy with my experience! My fiancé’s birthday is tomorrow and I setup the appointment to have lessons early this week, only to be hit about an hr ago (the night before the appointment) to tell me that the lessons are cancelled due to the slots being filled! It makes no sense to be able to setup a slotted date if it’s not actually available. Would have really been a good experience for her because she loves horses.
This camp stands out for its excellent equestrian program and its dedication to creating a supportive community for young girls. The instructors are exceptional—knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. They make sure each girl understands horse behavior and riding technique. The camp also prioritizes safety and fun, with plenty of activities to keep the girls engaged and excited. Our daughter had the best summer of her life and has grown so much because of her experiences at camp.
My daughter attended lessons here last year, and I was highly impressed with the horses, the quality of care, the school horses and ponies, and the overall facility. I also appreciated the clearly posted signs and rules, which made expectations straightforward and easy to follow.
My sons have taken riding lessons from Pony Gang for 3yrs. Boys usually aren’t the ones that stick with it as they get older, but my (now) 10yr has continued and enjoys it immensely! He is being challenged in a healthy way. And Mrs. Stefanie, Mrs. Angie and Ms. Ashley are VERY safety conscious and teach their students with great care the safety protocols and riding techniques that are superb. I know many people that have been injured in riding lessons, and it comes with the territory that you will fall off. But my sons have never gotten hurt and I contribute that to their great teaching and emphasis on safety and respect for the horses. These ladies love their horses like I’ve never seen, and it’s beyond amazing the care they provide for their horses as well as their students. If you want your child to truly learn how to ride a horse, groom, tack and care for a horse, then this is your program.
My 3 year old developed a ring worm on the sides of her lip. Of course, I can not say for certain that it came from her pony but, on several occasions my daughter complained about sand and debris getting in her eyes and face. Her trainer would brush the grooming items and the debris, sand, and dirt would get in her eyes. I had to ask the trainer to please stop doing that in her face at least twice. When I called to speak to the owner she became very defensive stating, "it couldn’t have come from my pony." She had no empathy, nothing, but her speaking over me. I told her that, of course she will no longer receive lessons there. There was no offer to issue any sort of refund. I also feel like there should be wash stations. After lessons, I would wipe my daughter’s hands and sanitize them but, that should be part of the program. The owner told me that they sanitize the pony grooming materials monthly. It seems to me that, that should be at least a weekly practice. Needless to say we will continue lessons somewhere else where they care about their clients. Your response explains exactly why people should take a look at reviews. Yes, there were occasions we she was fussy…she’s 3! My child’s babysitter even witnessed the debri from the brush going in my child’s face and the trainer just doing it without any care or concern. The free lesson was part of your program is what I was told but, I guess that’s changed now. Regardless, I’m the one that waste my money with you all. Best regards to you and yours.
