Twin Lakes Farm North Campus

Both my daughters and I have been riding there for years now. We love the stables and all their residents. The horses are really well taken after by Henry and the team. The structured program in place is good and empowers younger and less younger riders. They offer camps for kids, classes about horses, grooming and the horse is really at the center of everything. They have jumping classes, drill team and honestly the community is great with riders of all levels some who have been riding their whole life.

My daughters have been riding at Twin Lakes for years now and both have absolutely loved their experience with the trainers and horses. They have learned so much over the years and love their barn responsibilities to help groom and care for the horses. This barn is an absolute dream and I’m so glad we found Twin Lakes!

Absolutely terrible experience. Overcrowded old farm that should not be allowed to have that many horses, no room for them to run, just a bunch of sad, depressed animals and incompetent trainers whose only training advice is "kick the horse harder". Stay away until NYS takes away their license (finally)

One great thing about this place: It's close to Manhattan. The buck stops there. The "lesson" will be just a "walk, trot, canter, circle, change direction" session timed to the minute. If you really want to ride, you will feel extremely unsatisfied. "Jumping" does not exist: You trot over 6" inch tall ground poles and pretend it's something. At least the price is low, which it should be. The people were reasonably nice at least.

My daughter and I have been riding here for a few years. This place is wonderful! We love riding here. The horses are very well cared for and are in good condition. The instructors are terrific. We plan to continue riding here for many more years.

I went here with my sister once, all the horses are well cared for. Some of the instructors are terrible. There was this one teacher who was incredibly kind and cared for me. She was moved to the South Campus. After that I had a teacher that was blonde and wore a black winter jacket. On my last lesson I started yelling at her after she yelled at me, I told her that if she continued to insult me I would leave, afterwards she told me to leave. I left permanently afterwards according to my sister she reformed herself. I do recommend this place just be careful of who you are with.

This place is mean and not friendly!! "Trainers" are mediocre at best. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
