We can’t say enough great things about the fantastic team at Adobe Animal Hospital! Dr. Powers has been the most thorough veterinarian we have had in many years after our former veterinarian retired. There is no case which Dr. Powers doesn’t get an answer on and the team there performs all diagnostics and performs in-house labs which saves much time and cost while putting together the best treatment plan and providing options for your pet, if available. For dogs of all ages, they have been the best! Excellent staff, professional, kind, knowledgeable, EXPERIENCED - and supportive in times of difficult decisions and health challenges. Our dogs love Adobe! Never a hesitation walking in their state of the art facility, either! The front desk ladies are always welcoming when you check in. No questions asked, we trust them completely.

After several disappointing vet experiences in Marin, Adobe Animal Hospital in Petaluma has been such a relief. The entire team is professional and skilled, the facility is gorgeous, and service is efficient. They excel at all the details that matter - thorough follow-ups, helpful notes, appointment reminders, and giving each client focused attention without running late. Worth every minute of the drive - we even made the trip from the city. Our dog trainer recommended them and drives from the East Bay herself. So grateful we found them.

We have taken our dogs to Adobe Animal Hospital for 10 years now. They are super kind and provide excellent care. Both our animals have always liked the team and I feel like the vets take the time to get to know you and your animals and explain all the options.

Highly recommend. Despite multiple health challenges (small cell lymphoma, hyperthyroid and high blood pressure) my super-sweet geriatric cat is doing great, thanks to Dr. Stemwedel and her crew. My kitty is even playing again - something I thought was in her past! The office is very responsive and easy to work with. Couldn't be happier.

I’ve taken my dog, Oscar here for over a year. He’s geriatric and Adobe Animal clinic has always done a great job with him. I had Oscar’s teeth cleaned last week. He needed extractions also. Adobe called me several times for updates during his stay. The veterinarian also called the following day checking on Oscar. Although he took a while to come out of anesthesia, he did great and his breath and teeth are immensely better!

We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Stemwedel for over a decade and the level of care has been phenomenal. The professionalism shown to us by the entire staff has always been consistent and even during the pandemic we received the finest service available. I can’t thank the whole team enough for the emotional support they’ve shown us through thick and thin. Our happy little Yorkie Cricket loves everyone there and seems to enjoy the extra attention she gets. It’s a pleasure having such a caring vet.
