FFL fee(s) constantly change. Great customer service and nice people but evey time I go back there's another fee. I've asked about fees after every transfer but the very next time I get tagged with an additional fee. Used to be $25 for up to 4 firearms, additional fee if multiple assault rifles. Now an additional $20 each for second, third and fourth weapon. I didn't question the $65 fee this time (3 weapons, $25+$20+$20), I just won't be going back. They also won't call when you shipment arrives. I've had several weapons sitting for a while and I had to call to confirm they were there. I was also told they did not receive a rifle when calling, I confirmed shipping with the carrier and called back several minutes later and it was in fact there. Don't mean to hate on small businesses, just my experience here. If people ask of an FFL in Edgewood I would still mention Old Mill but I'll be sticking with my local guy (BlueLynx FFL) down the street.

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff. If they don’t have it- they’ll get it! Purchased show feed, all supplements, dog food, stove pellets, and tons of other products from them for YEARS! Would much rather support local than a big box store! 🌟⭐️🌟⭐️🌟⭐️

I purchased feed at Old Mill for several years. Last month I bought six bags of horse feed. When I got home, I found two bags had been chewed into by mice. Upon returning to Old Mill, the clerk offered to replace the feed. However, after checking, she stated that they didn’t have any feed which had not been contaminated and refunded my money. Not only was there no expression of plans to eradicate the mice, there was no admission that they even have a rodent problem. When I expressed my disappointment at being sold rodent-infected feed, she said it was up to me if I wished to purchase feed somewhere else. That sounds like an invitation. I have no idea if they have done anything about the rodent problem at Old Mill; I haven’t been back.

I always see high school kids working and running the entire shop. I Love it. They're always very helpful, don't make me feel dumb for asking dumb questions because i don't know about certain country things. I very much enjoy my shopping experience every time. Thank you for being efficient and welcoming.

We have consistently been pleased. Two of our daughters are in 4H, and the people at Old Mill have patiently answered question after question, ordered "odd" breeds of chickens, and given helpful advice covering chickens, cows, and rabbits. And they frequently have what the girls need for their animals, even when it's an unusual item. We're very happy to have such a great option in our little town.

Called Twice looking for chicks and was given two different dates, The last date given was 3/7/24. I googled the business and saw they are open until 6:00pm. I leave work slightly early in Albuquerque to arrive at 5:32 at Old Mill. Upon arrival the gates are closed and two vehicles of employees are getting ready to leave. I told them I wanted to get some chicks and their business states they are open until 6:00 online. Her response is sorry no they close at 5:30 until after daylight savings. I then go back when they first open today at 8:30 to purchase chicks, I go inside see the chicks tell them the 6 I want and their response is sorry those are all reserved. I leave wondering why did no one tell me on the phone the two times I called and yesterday upon arrival that if I was looking for chicks that I should pre order them to have them held for a future shipment date? As a business owner this is extremely frustrating knowing I waisted so much of my time.
