My family just loves imperial equestrian! Hillary is so welcoming, knowledgeable, and enjoys sharing the world of horses with even the smallest clients. We have had horses with her for seven years, and I would highly recommend her to anyone! She takes the time to develop a personal relationship with everyone of her clients and horses and structures, her programs specifically for their strengths and weaknesses. I trust her 100% with my family and horses.

Hillary and her staff are wonderful people with the common goal of providing the best experience for you and the horses. She has taken excellent care of my horse for over a year. Her communication and attention to detail are impeccable and speak to her level of professionalism. She is organized and one of the hardest workers I know.

Trainer Hillary McGowan truly is a very talented horsewoman that dedicates her skills to achieving the most your horse has to offer and more. Supreme care is given to your horses every need. Also extremely successful in riding instruction with all ages. Arabians are her passion and our industry needs the upcoming trainers to continue to promote our breed.

Our children take lessons with Hillary and they love her! If you are looking for lessons this is a great place!

Be careful before you board or consider this farm for a lesson. There was so much chaos when I had to pull my horse out of her farm, I did not get to see him as I put him in Hillary's care with the hopes he would be sold to a loving family. I trusted Hillary as a good horsewoman and he was over 300 pounds underweight to my extreme dismay. As you can see in the photos below that was not the horse I had sent her in show shape to the left, and how he left her farm on the right. I had to move him since Hillary, experienced hard times and lost her farm. Which was not Hillary's fault, but if you loose your farm you must have a plan in place for your boarders who are paying $900 a month. However, not at the expense and health of my horse. I had to find him a place to go since I was only given 15 days to figure out where to move him. Do not waste $900 in board, it is way too much money for what the expectations are to care for your horse, when the simple necessities cannot be provided such as adequate nutrition and water, which she notes in her boarding contract. I thought it would be worthwhile to not go to a big barn, I thought the care was going to be superb since thats the way Hillary comes off over the phone. Then she has a bunch of different stories as to what is actually going on with your horse. The type of training one can get for $900 can be well spent at another facility, be warned. Just do not want another fellow horse lover to go through the heart break or experience I had to with Imperial Equestrian. To really trust someone with the love and care you would expect, fell extremely short and my horse was left suffering in the long run not Hillary. You can clearly see from the photos he lost an extreme amount of weight, and had to be rehabbed for some time and still is trying to gain more weight. Having been in the industry for 25 + years I was appalled to say the least encountering this type of negligence and care for such expensive animals. Please do your research. She blocked me on social media and had excuse after excuse, and was so unprofessional to never own up to her mistake. Which is what an honest horseman and businessperson would do. I have never had a reason as to why my horse looked so unhealthy and had so much hair loss. I will probably never have a reason, but I am happy to say he is on the mend and is being properly cared for which is all that matters.
